Who We Are
CSR Activities
WEN India started CSR activities in these Unprecedented circumstances call for extraordinary actions. And if a large set of kind-hearted people come together with a will to serve the community, they can surely make the impact and touch the lives of people in need.
With the same motto, a set of people from Bengaluru stood up with a commitment to bring change in the lives of fellow citizens and help them sail through this tough phase of life. EOFO Team, HCP Team have joined hands with WEN India to start the Hunger Releif initiative. We Help to distribute meals and Ration kits to many in need, some lost their jobs , some have to close down there businesses .This initiative is active since the start of the pandemic in 2020.
During the first wave of Covid, the group had served more than 1,00,000 cooked meals, 15000 ration kits, 3000 masks and sanitisers.
This effort continued in the current testing times of the second wave where the situation is even more grave. The group continues to support the fellow citizens in need with food, medical needs and self-sanitization products across Bengaluru. To take it further it supports the need of voiceless souls of stray dogs and cows in the current times.
- We started in Bangalore with 500 meals on the first day of lockdown . We are able to serve more than 1 lac meals, 10k ration kits, 10k breads and 3k masks and sanitary napkins. In all we together were able to help our fellow citizens till the time they boarded trains/buses to go back to their villages.
- We were able to support Shree Rajendra Honey Comb Orphanage and old age home with their ration need
- We did 2 meals a day for Ashvasan old age home which we continued till August 2020.
- Year 2021, We associated with WFV and we aim together and work for United Nation’s -“SDG- Life on Land”
We are working towards creating awareness among all to opt for soil conditioner and organic manure to maintain indoor as well as outdoor plants.
As an alternative option for plastic pots we are creating awareness about Coir pots and jute grow bags which can be decluttered guilt free in the soil. We have also come up with coir nest for birds.
